Ex-referee is charged for nude photos

I hate to believe what I read in the Record Eagle. Art Bukowski is not a reliable source of information. But there it is. Dennis Mikko has been a thorn in my side for years while he made one bad ruling after another in my custody case. He sat up there Judging me and making my life and my childrens lives Hell. Why do we have to call them "Your Honor?" This news, if true, is anything but Honorable.

He's a creep. Lock him up, he made a mockery of his position.

Reserving judgement, but he looks creepy; I feel sorry for his own kids. Ex-wife was lucky to get out when she did . . .

Seems there are quite a few of us that have had "run-in's" with the former referee Mikko. I am yet one of many that have dealt with various family matters in front of him. I would have to say that it really touches home when you hear something such as his story knowing the fate of many issues even in my case lied right in his hands. Out of all people... It is a very sick thought and yet it just goes to show how well we really know the ones that decide so much for some of our own lives.

WE have known this "attorney" for over 15 years, professionally. WE ARE SHOCKED, but only in the subject matter of the charges. He has always been strange, and that is stating it mildly. MANY, MANY lawyers and other professionals thought it was nothing short of a disaster in that this person was given such a position of power - but I doubt that anyone would have guessed this... He has always craved power and am sure that he has inflicted his narcissistic personality disorder on to many who were not deserving. My thoughts are with his wife and two children.

I knew Dennis Mikko in college and he was self centered and arrogant even then. It is a surprise he is charged with these offenses as he has always been so self-righteous.

I sincerely hope the children were not impacted.

I spoke with one of the juvinile probationers that was on his sexually themed collage. She is absolutely terrified that he is walking free right now. lots of support on the petition, will take to prosecuter this next week.

This man should rot in Hell! He made so many familys, especially the children, suffer. I dealt with him from 1995 to 2008. He made my 2 girls sufffer emensly. Please post a note of any dates of hearings, or trials. I would love to attend. I just want to point my finger at him like he did me and tell him he is luckey to get what he gets. Because he will deserve it!

I am not so sure he will get what he deserves. I think the local judges should have recused themselves from the case and offered a change of venue. They will either protect their own or they will throw the book at him in order to prove their disgust for him and the tarnishment of their system. We will have to see what happens. I am hoping for over punishment. I too was a victim of his absurd rulings. At first I thought this case did not apply to my dealings with him but I have started to rethink that idea. I had a wierd encounter with him outside of court. I was with my daughter. I thought he was staring at me but now I think he was staring at my daughter. My ex-husband show caused me almost monthly and Mikko kept encouraging him to do so, ruling in his favor everytime and humiliating me over and over. Was this his sick way of keeping us in the system and helping other men with their sick needs? I believe so. Have there been any men out there with stories of mistreatment from Mikko? I'd like to hear from you. Otherwise I will continue to believe that Mikko was "Male-Biased" espescially to those with daughters. Maybe every single case he ever worked on needs to be reviewed, not just those in probate. But I will never trust this system to do what is right. He kept that job for far too long to trust the system that allowed him such authority. It is simply deplorable.
