Townsend man dies in Friday crash

A 72-year-old Townsend man died in a Friday evening crash on Highway 12. The man died after losing control of his vehicle while trying to avoid another vehicle that had slowed to pull off Highway 12 between Avon and Garrison, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.
