Employee illnesses at El Segundo firm linked to spaghetti brought in by worker
Police said possibly tainted spaghetti furnished by an employee may have caused 17 people to fall ill Wednesday at an El Segundo business, including eight who were taken to the hospital. About 3:45 p.m., El Segundo firefighters responded to ManTech International Corp., an information technology firm in the 2100 block of East Maple Avenue for what was called a multi-casualty incident, authorities said.
