' The threat of West Nile virus is earlier than expected this year in West Virginia and possibly the Mid-Ohio Valley.

Health officials say to be careful when outside this summer. A mosquito carrying the West Nile Virus has been identified in the Big Bend area of Tornado in Kanawha County.

' Tornado and flood watches remained in effect Wednesday as rain and thunderstorms caused low-lying areas to flood.
