E. Ky. man indicted in double slaying
TV reports Eugene Slone is was charged in the deaths of 26-year-old David E. Sparkman and 18-year-old Keisha M. Sexton, whose remains were found in July in a burned vehicle at an abandoned mine site in Topmost community of Knott County.

Miner says companies' negligence cost him his leg
A Letcher County husband and wife are suing four coal companies, alleging negligence led to an accident which caused the husband to lose his leg.
