New Diversity Buffet in Toms River set to open
Never mind the economy. Never mind the competition. Ken Chen is convinced that when his restaurant opens, it will be a success.

1 What is bad service at a buffet? They didn't take your empty plate away as fast as you were shoveling in more food from another plate? STOP GOING TO BUFFETS before they make a tv show about you on TLC. |

went for lunch, ok but not great--dinner is the WORST--nothing new on it but crab legs, clams & oysters-same sushi as lunch, no one making it fresh..the one by the A&P in Brick is much better---we were there for 1 hour and they never refilled the crab legs--won't ever go here again....

worst buffet ever. the only thing i liked was the fruit. dont go unless you want food thats not all the way cooked. FORTUNE BUFFET IS THE BEST!!

I couldn't wait to try this place. Before we went I read the reviews. I decided to try it anyway and I'm so happy that I did. It was GREAT! The food was better than Fortune and Diversity offered a better variety of food. The food was not dried out like other buffets that we have been to. It was clean and the staff was very nice. Four adults and one child went and we all loved it. This is going to be the Buffet that we go to from now on.

You are out of your tree.. if you think that stuff in Diversity is better than Fortune Buffet! Fortune Buffet is great..especially the fresh food they cook while you wait.. miles above Diversity's cooks. But even saying that, I will say Diversity's employees are very nice... and they do seem to try..and I can say it seems to improve a bit this last time I went..maybe in time they will get it right with experience. I'm not fussy.. I go with the family where ever they want to go. But, when asked.. Diversity is THE last place I would readily choose.

You need to come to MD if you want decent buffets. The seafood is much better down here and you can even get blue crabs in season.
