After plea deal Tama woman appeals 10-years in prison

A notice of appeal of a 10-year prison sentence handed down to Noelle Courtney Youngbear, 36, Tama, on Friday, June 27, was filed on Monday, June 30. Youngbear was released from custody at the Tama County Jail in Toledo on a $25,000 appeal bond posted on Tuesday, July 1 a jail spokesperson said.

Summer is officially here, summer reading has begun. Our first program for grades 1 & up was Tuesday June 10. We had an attendance of 96. Our topic was weather and weather spotter Randy Cooper from rural Toledo was our presenter.
