Tidewater resident David Juenke has had his drivers license permanently revoked and was sentenced to nearly 15 years in prison for causing a head-on crash on Highway 34 last June while driving drunk.

The Siuslaw River hit flood stage at 10 p.m. Monday night, and water is expected to crest a half food over flood stage around 4 a.m. Tuesday.

Police say David Parker Juenke, 59, of Waldport, faces DUII, reckless driving and other criminal charges after crashing his truck into a car near Tidewater in June.
