Not really a good news story. City sign ordinance says you can't post signs on trees & fences. A flag is considered a "sign". The city inforced the ordinance and gave a few people 10 days to remove their flags. Those people raised a stink saying they can do whatever they want to. However, the USA has very straightforward website that says putting a flag on a tree is desrespectful. KXAS had a slow news day and decided to report it as news. End of story.
