A Terrebonne man was shot from inside a Crooked River Ranch home as he tried to break in, believing his girlfriend was seeing another man, Deschutes County sheriff's deputies said Tuesday.

A 69-year-old Terrebonne-area woman who walked away from her home Thursday morning and never returned, prompting an expanding search late in the day, was found in the early evening, nearly 12 hours later.
