I'm still working on summer projects so the nice weather can stay as long as it likes! Besides, I understand that new favorite color is GREEN, so the trees probably don't dare turn any other color. It would be offensive to our new president - and racist.

Trees trying desperately to overcome their racist tendencies and capitalist ways are another reason that fall colors won't be quite as vivid this year. A lot of energy which equates into heat, goes into redirecting fibro vascular bundles and sap routes, thereby lessening the fall color and prolonging the green appearance. Those trees in the less fortunate areas are especially effected. =)

This story is horribly written. Why am I an out-of-work journalist but this guy is working for the "big guys." Sheesh.

Do you uneducated, ignorant, redneck conservatives still believe the lie that "global warming doesn't exist?" Here we can see that the warm weather is destroying our forests in Minnesota. How much more plain do we have to make it for you people?

The fall foliage may not be as brilliant this year but their are still some really beautiful colors. Fall is my favorite time of year and I don't care how much color there is or isn't, I like every part of it.

Cindy, I suggest you get out there and enjoy it now, while we still have an Earth. I am saddened to say that I don't think your children will ever see fall colors because I'm afraid we as a society will let the conservatives destroy the Earth and turn it into a desert wasteland.

Now the climate-criminals have destroyed the beauty of autumn foliage. How much more proof do people need that the global warming crisis is becoming a Holocaust? The mention of the State Fair is also appropriate as it's just another contributing factor to the crisis.

Hey both crackpots DFL4LIFE and MRS R are posting here!

It is a daily double of whack jobs. Neither can defend their posts with logic or facts but we can enjoy their misguided comments and get a good chuckle out of them.

I never thougth one could correlate state fair and global warming but MRS R did.

Hey MRS R and DFL4LIFE can you connect the running style of Adrian Peterson to global warming? I can't wait for this one!

It's totally the end of the world when leaves don't quite turn your favorite shade for all of a week. Obviously we need to abandon our cities and run around naked in the sticks subsisting on berries and tree bark

And with all the other sad things happening to the world, that doesn't occur to you for a second, does it? You're just a clone with no thoughts of your own.

Ease up on the beer swilling, I'm aware the world is horrible for what the greedy capitalists and their minions have done to our environment. I don't see anyone else equating the crisis with the Holocaust, as I've done, because people are afraid and guilty to acknowledge that their unsustainable wasteful consumerism is responsible for more deaths than the crimes of the Third Reich, which also had the blessing of American corporations.

#1, I don't drink - at all.#2, The reason no one has equated "the crisis" (as you call it) with the holocaust is because they're not nuts like you.#3, You should probably quit your drinking and go to bed - pronto.
