A Kenton County Fiscal Court GOP primary is drawing a crowd. Pat Dressman of Independence, the director of human services for Campbell County, said Tuesday she has filed a letter of intent with state election officials to run for the county commission seat held by first term Taylor Mill Republican Sara Reeder Voelker.
At Scott High School, people knew her as Carly Slusser. Now the 19-year-old former Taylor Mill resident goes by Carly Pearce as she tries to make a name for herself as a country singer.
