Tarzana hospital closes doors to striking workers, at least for 5 days
After nine months of negotiations, Some of the 560 caregivers were striking Providence Tarzana Medical Center on Thursday, Aug. 16, to protest what they say are the hospitalA*s unfair labor practices and demand a contract that provides fair wages. Several workers at a Tarzana hospital will have to wait until Tuesday to be able to be let back into their workplace after participating in a strike against what they say are unfair wages.
