Camelback Mountain Resort plans to invest $145 million to expand its facilities with an indoor water park, 453-room hotel, restaurants and conference areas.

The second of five defendants charged with aiding a prostitution ring that operated out of massage parlors in Lackawanna and several other nearby counties was sentenced Tuesday in federal court to two years' probation.

Carbon County Recorder of Deeds Emmett P. McCall reported his office recorded 195 deeds, 253 mortgages and 458 other writs during the month of April.
