Just because he was leaving and not facing the store owner at the time he got nailed does not mean he was no longer a threat. A person with a gun and full of drugs is always a threat.
So he got nailed and his worthless so-called friend drops him in the parking lot. Nice crowd.

Who is to say who's a threat and who isn't? According to you, if you "feel" threatened you are justified in killing someone? Again, there was no gun involved, except for the carry out owner. I am glad you are not in charge.....most US citizens live here because they believe in the Constitution and what it stands for, including the Judicial System. If you think a threat is a justifiable killing, you need to rethink your moral compass.

No - most people live here because they believe in working hard for a living and not having to be held-up by some lowlifes. If more people shot robbers dead maybe they would think twice before trying to take away something that is not theirs to begin with.

I am. If someone is robbing me, they are a threat. Any reasonable person knows that a robber is a threat. That's what robbers do, take things by force or threat of force. Shooting them is generally a reasonable reaction.

Thank You, Bill.

And in the meantime, all his so called friends are busy talking about what a great football player he was and how he just 'made a mistake.'

You make a mistake balancing your checkbook. Robbery is a willful decision.

I assume it is "reasonable" to you to shoot the 12 year old robber who was taking a candy bar....

I must be - because I will never understand your thinking. I will pray for you, though.

I think I have you all figured out - you are all so called friends of Morad A. Fares talking about how justified he was in shooting the football star in the back four times - he was "just" protecting himself from the bad guys...shooting someone in the back, is a willful decision- right?

We're not talking about children or shoplifting here. Take your strawman argument elsewhere.

Armed robbery hardly qualifies as civilized behavior, ALA. Please point to some credible evidence (other than the self-serving fabrications of a few Otsego High School athletic boosters) that Arron Agler did not threaten the store employees with a firearm. The Summit County Prosecutor and the Barberton Police Department appear to believe otherwise.
Maybe if you were actually shown the evidence the police had that was not released....you would understand. Arron RIP i miss you very much!! You were a great guy and that is how i will always remember you!

Well, what unreleased evidence do the police have that would aid our understanding?

There is no "unreleased eveidence."

His friends - probably thugs as well, need to move on. Try buying a teddy bear and stapling it to the nearest telephone phone.

You did not answer my question - has anyone ever thought you were "bad rubbish"? If so, do you deserve the same result Arron got? FYI - there was no gun involved - it was NOT and ARMED robbery.
As reported by the Akron Beacon Journal staff on July 7, 2009:

A man who robbed a North Portage Path bar Monday night acted as if he had a gun in his pocket while demanding money, Akron police said.

A bartender at the Noisy Oyster, 1375 N. Portage Path told police a man approached the bar at about 11:30 p.m. and acted as if he had a gun.

The bartender gave the man an undetermined amount of cash from the register, police said.

The robber is described as a black man between 25 and 35 years old. He was between 6 feet 1 inch and 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighed between 170 and 190 pounds. He had a light complexion, a thin mustache and was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans shorts, black hat, and glasses.

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Sagittarius

People around you may be insistent in their demands and they seem unreasonable, which in turn will lead to mental tension for you. There is the danger that this will dull your resolve, but the real path still lies ahead, beyond these temporary hurdles. Don't take this as a setback: there's no need to change your course of action.
