Clear Creek Amana teen dead after I-380 crash
A 16-year-old Clear Creek Amana High School student was killed and two other teens were injured in a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 380 Thursday.
The Johnson County Sheriff's Department said an area man forged checks taken from a Solon church to make purchases at grocery stores and Wal-Mart. The sheriff's department said Steven Richard Obadel, 43, no address listed, stole checks from the Solon Methodist Church on July 17.
