Before we do anything, let's address the giant elephant in the room - and we're not talking about Lucy of Margate.

The Barnegat Bay Blitz cleanup followed many local volunteer efforts during the last six months to collect debris from Superstorm Sandy, but the crews and students out still had plenty of work at hand.

Hundreds of students and volunteers are working along Barnegat Bay and up in its inland watershed in the fourth state-sponsored cleanup since 2011.
