Commuter: I have noticed a trend among drivers coming onto freeways. Instead of following what I thought was the meaning of "merge," some drivers bully their way onto the freeway, forcing ongoing traffic to slam on brakes or move a lane to the left, which is often occupied and therefore offers no escape.
