Sunnyvale: Toddler safe after shoppers find him locked in car at Costco

Sunnyvale public safety officers are investigating a case that could have taken a much more tragic turn, after a mother left her toddler buckled in the back seat of her car as she shopped for groceries at Costco.

The woman is unfit to parent a child! She should be arrested for abuse! The child could have died! I don't understand how ANYONE could think it okay to leave a child, a toddler, unattended for ANY length of time!
