June Art Fest is Saturday, and it's moved to Chalet Place

This is a shot in the dark-but I am trying to reach a local artist by the name of Kate (business name is Briarwood ArtGems)-I don't have her last name. She's a retired jewelry artist that lived in Selah until recently-she may have moved to the Oregon Coast. I have been looking for Kate, too! I hope nothing has happened to her! I will be checking this thread from time to time to see if anyone has news.

Kate's last name is Brown. She is such an exceptional person that I've become concerned that her site is obviously closed. She had been ill not too long ago. If you find her before I do, tell her that Judy sends her love.

the economy has helped many good jewelers close up shop. Gold over 1060.00 an oz, and the job market what it is has caused custom jewelers to try other things. I was in the same boat. the custom work is very slow, but whenever the economy gets bad, repair services boom. hope she rebounds.

Hi everyone, good news. Kate appears to be back up and running again on eBay. I noticed a few weeks ago that her user ID had changed, so I knew someone was active - I didn't know if it was Kate herself or an assistant. I sent another message via eBay and this time Kate responded, saying that she hoped to have her eBay store up and running soon - and now she has! I think the email I received is genuine and from Kate herself, though these days with all the spam, fraud etc one has to be really careful.

So for all of you who used to visit Kate on eBay, please do so again - the store name is unchanged (I think). I don't want to type it here, in case I accidentally break a privacy rule or something! If you don't know her store name, contact me via email (address posted earlier) and I can let you know the details.

Yay! I will certainly be supporting Kate again :)
