A tornado warning expired at 9 a.m. for Northampton County, but a severe thunderstorm warning remained in place for Isle of Wight County and Suffolk until 9:30 a.m. A spokesperson for the Eastville Volunteer Fire Department confirmed a tornado touched down Cherrystone Campground , in Cheriton.
