Federal fishery managers implement rule on grouper

Brandon Langel, of Fort Pierce, and his personal best 59-pound black grouper speared in 80 feet of water on the first day of lobster mini-season. Langel and his fellow divers picked up 35 lobsters and shot several gag grouper to 20 pounds.

Truck Tires Stolen From Stuart Dealership

Someone stole the tires off four trucks at a Stuart dealership overnight. Police said a patrol officer discovered the trucks sitting on wooden blocks with their tires removed at Advantage Ford, located at 4000 SE Federal Highway, shortly after 2:15 a.m. A fifth vehicle was on blocks, but the wheels had not been removed.
