Thrifty Drugs in Streator will be closing its doors Wednesday, Nov. 11. According to Jack Sorenson, a pharmacist at Thrifty Drugs, 306 E. Main St., the drugstore has been sold to Kroger and all prescription operations will move to Kroger.
