No, he just wanted to back to jail for the free room and board. Times are tough on the outside !

As much as I don't like cops, this idiot deserves to go to jail for a v ery long time. Maybe if he is behind bars, it will prevent him from reproducing.

You not liking cops has nothing to do with this..... Maybe you should learn to like cops b/c the cop that gives you a ticket on your way home from work is the same cop that just risked his life for someone days before. They might have some bad apples on the force but it sure as heck isn't on purpose. If you don't like cops try living a day without them.

It makes you wonder about the attentiveness of the cop. I mean, if the passenger just smoked, uh, didn't the officer notice anything?

BOO HOO--thta is their job. Just like a doctor or a teacher. Yet, what a punk cop breaks the law, that punk gets off free. We all know it as you do. Yes, rather than live without them, let's live without them getting away with all types of crime they commit daily as shown and heard all around the US weekly. They are no better than anyone else. Last I checked, a 4 year degree was not nessessary to becoime a bully with a badge. I know all types of college educated people, teachers, doctors, you name it, they all teach their kids to treat cops like strangers. Stay away from them and do not talk to them.

OK, a cop decides to let you off with a warning. Please following the following four steps.

1. Say thank you.
2. Return to your car.
3. Enter the car and fasten your seat-belt.
4. Drive away at the posted speed limit and remember to signal.

How hard is that??

Thats a classic interdiction stop. The cop probably knew that there was drugs in the car and what better than having the driver's consent to search the car. You cant challenge the consent whereas one has a slim chance of challenging a probable cause search.

Criminals are stupid, thats why they are criminals.

Be nice to a cop when you are pulled over and you just may get a warning.

I guess you feel that a cop should be treated better than anyone else --- you know, because they deserve it, beceuse they are a cop. When you are stopped, suck up and maybe you will get off--that is your reasoning.

What a way to make these punks feel even more powerful---better than the average folk. The law is the law---for everyone. Sadly, cops get off regardless.

And please, spare us the rhetoric that a cop’s job is so dangerous. Statically, they are the safest profession, albeit, the most corrupt).

When stopped, remember your rights.

Please present the statistics that support your argument that being a policeman is "the safest profession". I find that hard to believe, but if you show me/us the proof I'll become a believer.
