LANCASTER a ' Michael A. Roseboro closed his eyes, swallowed hard and dropped his head slightly as his mother, Ann, sobbed Thursday afternoon.

"No doubt, as Jan Roseboro was being murdered," Stedman said softly, "she thought, 'Somebody stop him! Somebody stop him!' "No one helped her," Stedman said, barely above a whisper.

"Michael Roseboro lied. And he cheated. But he only lied about cheating," his attorney told a Lancaster County jury today.
