Glider lands safely on ski run at Lake Tahoe

STATELINE, Nev. - Sheriff's deputies at Lake Tahoe say they don't intend to pursue any criminal charges against a glider pilot who made an emergency landing on a ski run over the weekend at Heavenly Mountain Resort.

Douglas Sheriffs arrest prostitution ring in Stateline

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Investigators in the Douglas County Sheriff's Office Street Enforcement Team have arrested a California couple, Fonzie Frank Preader, 33, and Sarah Danielle Groves, 21, on suspicion of pandering of prostitution.
