Well all ihave to say is you people voted for Brian Murphy! You ought to be ashamed of yourselves! He was on the council in Stanhope for 12 years and did squat! Enjoy the next three years with that jerk!

I can say Depew kept our taxes down this year. He has gone after grants with the state. Thats more than the other council members did. If you went to the candidates night, maybe you would have heard what the candidates had to say what they wanted for the town. I bet you have never been in a council meeting yet. That's the problem with you people! You got something to say come to a meeting! Hope to see you there!

Trust me, I've been to the council meetings. Its like a 3 ring circus. Its a joke. I've seen how they treat the people. If they want to hear what you have to say they listen. If they don't they make it a point to let you know they are ignoring you. There use to be a guy who went in to speak to them. They were more into watching the clock, waiting for the guys 5 min to be up then they were in what the guy had to say. Oh their there for the people ok.. lol..

They are all talk till they get in then they want nothing to do with the people.. Unless there doing something to get press of makes them look good.

I hear what your saying! But I have to say when I had a question Mike Depew was the only one who gave uyou the time of day and answered all my questions. If you read his pamphlet he had at Stanhope Day. He has a lot of knowledge about the town. He has lived here all his life and wants to make it a nice town. Notice all the businesses that were there were forced out because of rents being high. Years ago it was nice. The problem is there are alot of new people moving into Stanhope. Murphy just wants redevelopment! Stupid condos! Just what we need! They say they will be 55 and over but they will be too expensive and the all the low income people will move in there and we will just have drug deals in and out! Murphy doesnt know jack!
