A Stanhope man accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend early Wednesday morning had sneaked into her Landing home and began stabbing her while she slept - and while her two children lay asleep a short distance away - according to court documents filed Thursday.

The Chiefly Stanhope was on 666 this morning placating the nutters and wierdos who call in.

Two brothers from Netcong attacked a Byram resident early Sunday in a dispute over the woman one of the Netcong brothers previously dated, and the Byram resident currently dates, police said.

For now, the agreement between Netcong and Stanhope school districts is to share the same superintendent, who will work half-time in each district.

Stanhope Borough Police Officer Kurt Eller is thankful for his job every day. Not a surprise considering he previously worked in Stillwater Township, home of the most heavily debated police department in Sussex County.
