Springfield Public Library turns 100
“Some ladies back in 1908 decided that Springfield needed a library”
The Springfield Public Library is celebrating its 100th birthday this week. Acting Director Debbie Steinman said when the library opened, there were less than fifty books to loan out. via KVAL-TV Eugene
