Group gives $25K to family of deputy killed in flooding
A southwest Missouri group has given $25,000 to the family of a sheriff's deputy who died when his patrol car was swept away by floodwaters. The Springfield News-Leader reports that the Greene County 100 Club gave a $25,000 check over the weekend to the widow of 35-year-old Greene County Deputy Aaron Paul Roberts.
