State police continued to search Wednesday for a mysterious woman seen leaving a Tucker Ridge Road mobile home shortly before a couple was discovered inside, the victims of apparent homicide.

A Danforth man convicted of driving drunk during a crash that paralyzed his former girlfriend and endangered the life of their unborn child will spend at least six years in prison, ruled Penobscot County Superior Court Justice William Anderson on Wednesday.

The trial began in Bangor Monday for a Danforth man accused of causing a car crash that left his passenger in a wheelchair.

The state says Jayson Caron, of Danforth, got drunk during the 2007 Springfield Fair, demanded the keys from his pregnant girlfriend, and then rolled his truck and caused her to be para-lyzed and bound to a wheelchair.
