COLVILLE, Wash. - Stevens County prosecutors have charged the ex-boyfriend of a woman found stabbed to death near Springdale, Wash., with first-degree murder.

SPRINGDALE, Wash. - A missing woman has been found dead after an intense search near Springdale, northwest of Spokane, and her former boyfriend is in jail for investigation of first-degree murder.

Today, detectives from the Stevens County Sheriff's Office arrested 42-year-old Preston Lee Rogers on a charge of Murder in the 1st degree.

Stevens County authorities are searching for a 28-year-old woman they fear may be the victim of foul play.

Three people remain in a hospital after a two-car accident at Colville Road near Loon Lake around 5:00 p.m. Tuesday.
