Auditor: Spring Valley Twp. makes $35K error, undiscovered for 2 years
COLUMBUS, Ohio The Ohio Auditor of State's office said Tuesday a township in Greene County overpaid a contractor and the error wasn't discovered for two years. In a release, the Auditor's Office said Spring Valley Township issued a $35,124 check to Ray Hensley Inc. on Nov. 2, 2015, as what was supposed to be a partial payment for road repairs.
