SPRING HILL - So much for cell phones and 911. There are still spots in rural Minnesota where people call the nearest cafe for help when a farmer's life is on the line.

Man Rescued From Central MN Corn Bin

A central Minnesota man is doing OK after being rescued from a corn bin. Stearns County sheriff's deputies were called Tuesday to a farm near Spring Hill by a man who said his 39-year-old son, Steven Pung, had climbed into the bin on the family's farm.

Spring Hill man rescued from corn bin

PAYNESVILLE - A 39-year-old rural Spring Hill man was pulled from a corn bin Tuesday by deputies and Elrosa Rescue Squad members at a farm at 35535 Stearns County Road 14.
