While we would love to live in a world where we didn't need a place like the Frederic Ozanam Transitional Shelter, it's good to know it will be a reality.

The Spencer High School Drama Club will present the play, "Get Smart," by Mel Brooks and adapted by Christopher Sergel, at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the Lucille Tack Center for the Arts, 300 N. School St., Spencer.

The meeting was led by President Eric Stashek. Dan Salzwedel has received the rank of Eagle at a special court of honor earlier this month at Wildwood Park.

We can only hope that she is kinder than her predecessor. As we close this month, we need to peer into the crystal ball to see what awaits us.
