Soup and song is big success

SOUTHWEST HARBOR : More than 100 people showed up at the Common Good CafA© in Seawall Saturday night to enjoy and evening of good food and good entertainment by the volunteer staff and friends of the organization which has been providing healthy soups, salads and other fare and a place to eat it seven days a week throughout most of the summer.

Body of missing boater identified as Jon ...

The Coast Guard ended its search Thursday, Oct. 8, for a Freeport man after his body washed ashore near Bar Harbor, at around 10:40 a.m. The body of Jon Myers was found inside the area in which rescue crews were searching.
