Pit bull saved after being dumped by dog fighters
Local veterinarians are caring for a young pit bull they've dubbed "Turtle" after state humane officers say she was dumped alongside a Hyde Park road by dog fighters to die.
The United Methodist Church of South Walpole will be delivering individual complete turkey dinners to local elderly and families in need on Thanksgiving Day.  Church members and other volunteers will prepare the food, pack the meals, and deliver them at noon.
