The police officer in this case deserves a big thank you from the community for doing his job. As for the low life scum they should simply be put to death. However, before they are killed there organs should be harvested for donation. There whole lives have been useless and meaningless so maybe in death they can finally give life.

I hope the family can heal in time and may this poor man rest in peace.

Does anyone know why? Were they stealing his meds or just property? Probably a couple low-life meth heads or pill junkies. I say it's time to re-visit the old hangin' tree in Cundiff Square. I agree w/ you too Mark.....simply disgusting, may God bless the family.

Homer was my uncle.
It was done for his money.

had it not been for a head light being out on his car, that they stole after they murdered him, they would have gotten away.

If they would, the next person would think before killing.

I agree!!! Bring back hangings and electric chairs for people like this!! Punishments now-days aren't harsh enough to make people think twice before doing a crime!! Too bad we (general we not aimed at anyone here in particular) as a nation for the most part have become weak kneed pansies. Scared to death we will offend someone.

Instead, we give them a trial, provide them an attorney, keep in prison till they die or get out on parol, feed them, and most times help reintroduce them to society when they get out. There is no justice for the victim or the victim's family. I say give the friends and family of the victim 30 minutes to do whatever they want to the murderer's then kill them if they're not already dead. Same goes with rapist's and child molesters.

Simply put to death?
I am not sure how i feel about all of this.... here is my story, and why i am unsure... I dated Rafael about 5 years ago... he was a really good guy, at that time, except he had a drug problem. he wanted help at that time but said his family could not pay for it. he wanted to get clean... a few years later he was in the paper for a crime he had commited, and he called me from jail. he knew that i would send him money, because i was in a position financially where i could do that, he promised if i sent him some money he would ask his lawyer to get him into a rehab. i myself called his lawyer, it was Jim Cox, and ask if had ask for rehab, he had, and they took it to court, the court DID NOT give him rehab. they gave him a fine and 60 days unsupervised probation and that was it. I feel the court in a way failed him. they should have gave him rehab. I feel treatment is key in the battle of crime and drugs in pulaski county... a high percentage of the crime here is due to drug use, if you treat the under lying problem (the drug use) the problem goes away, or greatly reduces... I am not saying what he did was right, it was very wrong. But addiction is a disease, it CAN be treated. I dont feel he should be put to death, but he should be punished for his crime, and then treated for his addiction, that was if he IS someday paroled or relesed into society he will be at a lower risk of commiting a crime because he will not be thinking with the mind of an addict, an addict thinks about one thing, and one thing only, how to get their next fix... some would kill for it and i feel that is what happened here.

Yeah....they always "want help" when confronted. If I wanted help to kcik drugs, I would see to it that it happened....a loan, apply for a grant, seek out a church to help.....something. This guy did not deserve this......he wasn't the junkie....the junkie should have thought it out a little more, he didn't, he should swing......period.
