This really upsets me. I hate animal abusers & I think they should be charged with murder, just the same as if they killed a human. Weather he/she pays for it on earth or if they pay for it by burning in hell forever & ever. I wish both upon these horrible people. How could they even sleep at night knowing they done something that cruel to something living, that has feelings. Sometimes I get mad at my pets but that sure as hell doesn't give me the right to kill them. I think there is a correct way to disipline a dog or cat & killing them by any means isn't the correct way. I pray that God really punishes lowlife people like this when judgement day rolls around.!

This is an injustice. I can't believe that they let this asshole go free for what he did just because someone dropped the ball. Maybe some of our "good ol'boys" in town will get to him, beings as our court system let us down ONCE AGAIN!! I've lost all faith in our legal system in Pulaski County. It's a joke.(Let this man move from animal abuse to doing something to one of our kids and watch the wheels of justice oil up. It'll be too late by then). Way to go Pulaski County. You strike out once again..

I hope that guy burns in hell.

I hope that guy burns in hell. I am curious as to WHY the case was dropped. From the beginning I thought possibly it was a neighborly dispute and alot of hearsay. Sometimes you have to truely wait for all the real facts to come out. There had to be a reason a judge would find it not feasable to go forward especially with animal rights activist and the news being so strong against the man. How many times do we see news exploited and people judged on popular vote not by what is facts. I don't know if he was quilty or not, just curious what was the turning point to drop the charges.

The ball was not dropped...It will be moving from district court to circuit court. The grand jury will decide whether to indict or not. So if it doesnt go any further than this, you can blame it on your neighbors that sits on this jury. I would rather see it in circuit rather than district, carries heavier fines and time. Dont go putting down the system, if you dont understand it!

So in that case, please Enlighten me. Do you live around here? This is not the only case of ill handled justice. This just happens to be an animal abuse case. And when it comes to children and animals, I develop a big case of hard ass when things aren't judged correctly and in a timely manner.

The case in district court HAS to be dismissed before they can proceed with the indictment. The case will go before the grand jury, that is made up of your peers, and if there is enough evidence to proceed, they will hand down an indictment. If not, they wont. It is all up to the Commonwealth Attorney now to make sure the case is presented to ensure an indictment. Glad I could help you understand the legal system a little better!

Thank you. So is there a way we can contact the Commonwealth Attorney to assure this case is presented? I want this man to pay. Many of us do. What he did was wrong on many levels. Right down to badgering his neighbors by "barking" at them as he drove by after he poisoned that poor animal.

usually a case is waived to the grand jury for indictment when the charge is a felony but this one was dismissed not waived so i dont think there was any evidence that this incident actually happened, my guess is just neighbors not getting along, however i do hope the man charged does get a lawyer to sue all these nutcases on here wanting to do harm to him

Plenty of crimes are committed without any witnesses. Several people saw this man torture this poor animal. He needs to fry.
