Accidents close highway

Several people were injured in separate traffic accidents on Friday that temporarily closed two sections of US-75 highway in Jackson and Shawnee County.

Motorcyclist badly injured

A man driving a motorcycle was transported with life-threatening injuries to a Topeka hospital Tuesday evening after being struck by a two-door Oldsmobile in North Topeka.

Be ready before storm strikes

Pam Muntz lost her home in the Greensburg tornado in May 2007. Carmen Stauth, a co-worker of Muntz's at Kiowa County Extension, was luckier - her home was spared when the town was leveled.
