Why doesn't the mayor get grants and build a seniors area. Its a perfect place for senior housing, with perhaps a small airport, or a shuttle to knoxville once a day back and forth. High rises, a pool and activities. Why not go for this angle?

Sure! A retirement home would be perfect for this Mountainous Community. I always thought a Native American Museum would be attractive there as well. "Sioux Indian Memorial Grounds" or a catchy title like that.
