Boy, 5, drowns in Slidell, station reports
A 5-year-old boy drowned in Slidell Friday evening, according to WWL-TV. Firefighters responded to a call at McCartney Court at 7 p.m. Friday and the boy was taken to the hospital where he died about 8 p.m. The St. Tammany Parish Coroner's Office will not release the victim's name until the autopsy is completed, the station reported.
