Fishing Will Be Slightly Better in 2009 Fishermen Want More Aggressive Predator Control
Fishing for Fall Chinook on the Rogue River is forecast to be slightly better than last year but will have the same two fish per day, 10 fish aggregate limit as last year, if Oregon Department Fish & Wildlife Fish Biologist Todd Conifer's recommendation is accepted by the full ODF&W board later this month in Salem.
Restricted South Coast salmon season proposed
GOLD BEACH Fishing for fall Chinook salmon on south coast rivers is likely to be more restricted than last year except for the Rogue and Elk rivers, ODFW District Fish Biologist Todd Confer said Thursday at a meeting to solicit input on regulations for the fall season.
