Police are investigating a burglary reported between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Wednesday on Colleen Court in the Silver Ridge section of the township.

How do you maintain services and improve the infrastructure of a 41.9-square-mile township with 42,000 residents and at the same time keep the tax rate stable? That is the challenge eight candidates running for four four-year terms on the Township Council face.

The election for the Berkeley Township Council seat for Ward 3, which includes Holiday City South, Holiday Heights and Silver Ridge Park communities, has a candidate for that seat who deserves residents' votes - Judy Noonan.

Police are investigating more than 20 incidents of a dark-colored 4-door vehicle, possibly a PT Cruiser, shooting yellow paintballs at homes and motor vehicles in the township, said police Chief Michael Mastronardy.

A man whose last known address was on Wheaton Avenue was arrested Monday evening in a senior community and charged with drug possession, after police saw him driving a car with a suspended driver's license, said Detective Sgt.
