Conner gets win in first game of Doc Morris
Conner, ranked fourth in the Enquirer Northern Kentucky coaches' poll, defeated Simon Kenton 12-5 in the first game of the Doc Morris Invitational Tournament at Simon Kenton.
Smith's perfect game lifts Notre Dame
In a match-up featuring teams ranked in the Top 10, sophomore pitcher Haylee Smith tossed a perfect game to lead Notre Dame past Dixie Heights, 6-0. The game was shortened to five innings due to the inclement weather.
National College salutes locals
