Snow Making Travel Difficult Along North Shore
Lake-effect snow is making for difficult travel along the North Shore of Lake Superior.
The National Weather Service says travel will be very difficult or impossible in some parts of northeastern Minnesota through this evening, especially along Highway 61.
Lake-effect snow bands will drop heavy snow, especially on the higher terrain from Grand Marais through Lutsen, Tofte and Little Marais. Totals in those areas are expected to range from six to ten inches, with a few isolated locations getting over one foot. Read more
