It's a visual representation of the voices in Lil' John's head.

Exactly as I said. Since you've "been there," it's your one-sided America-biased view.
My father does the same thing. He served for 25 years, and many times when we discuss history and politics, I see him avoid his rational side in favor of his patriotic side simply because of the occupation he had for so much of his life.
I should add: he also respects my point of view and doesn't say "I wouldn't pee on you if you were on fire" simply because I don't agree with some uber-patriotic, militaristic POV.

Frankly, Grumps, I don't give a damn if you served. Just because you served doesn't give you the right to act as if you're the only one entitled to speak their mind. People like you seem to think that since you served in the military, your view should be taken as gospel. I don't care that you've been shot at by people who "didn't like you or your country." I don't know where you were, but did you stop to think maybe about WHY those people didn't like "you or your country?" Was it maybe simply because YOU WERE IN THEIR COUNTRY?

We aren't a target of terrorists because they "hate our freedoms." We're targeted by terrorists and disliked in many parts of the world because we don't mind our own business, and we commit just as many terroristic acts as the terrorists we're supposed to be foiling. You can't fight terrorism with terror.

You may read books from both sides, but you obviously only take to heart the things you read from one side. You don't have an objective view of history.

"Give them more homework, they're obviously bored." I happen to know for a fact that almost all of the kids in the Ship Dems are poli sci majors with some kind of minor which translates into alot of homeworkd....its college.
I am a college student. Yeah, I'm on my parents health care what of it? I also pay ALL of my bills and bought MY OWN car with MY OWN money. I am also paying for ALL of my college education by myself which is going to include graduate school. Now...with me paying for ALL of that stuff plus the rise in the gas prices(and the rise in prices in general) why must I go uninsured after I graduate? With the way the job market is now, no one is garunteed a job and I'm definatly no exception. So even though I'm paying out the ass for everything I have, I'm still going to either have no healtcare or have to pay even MORE for it. I have a pretty good job right now. However they work me about 37 hours a week, JUST enough that I'm working ALL the time but can't get on their health plan without paying huge costs. I'm relativly sure that my job is not the only place that does this. So I'm working, paying taxes, going to school, paying my bills, buying my own things (All at the age of 19 by the way)....I feel like I, and every other person in my postition, deserve FREE healthcare let alone reasonably priced healthcare. Why is that so bad?

It's extremely disheartening to hear fellow Americans so disinterested in each other's well being. I am one of those "students" that is being bashed. What the hell is that supposed to mean by the way? I am a student. No quotations needed. I know that is your way of trivializing my opinion but seriously, grow up if you're going to talk down to me. I find it incredible that you single out the kids trying their best not to be dependent on others for things like health care. I'm not saying the proposed plan is perfect but don't give students crap for attempting to be active citizens.

''''trying their best not to be dependent on others for things like health care''''

That statement demonstrates the incomplete thought process you have!

If the health care plan of the democrats passes , we all will dependent; dependent on the government for health care!

Their goal is for universal - one payer health care , don't let anyone kid you!

The only 'snout' I'm aware of is what's on the front of your face. Just seems to fit.

Daily Horoscope for December 7

Virgo

Enjoy today's lively atmosphere. It's great for throwing yourself into social settings and mixing with as many people as possible. You'll feel no hint of shyness or nerves, even if you're facing a room full of strangers. If things have been tricky with a near neighbor or close relative recently, this is a good day to sort things out even if you have to be quite tough in the process.
