It must be armature hour at the editors desk-----
Click on the tab to read the whole story and you get---- 'Norlo Park's growth chugs along in Guilford Township with railroad heritage additions' Choo choo's at a park---- But they still have time to censor legitimate information off the topix! |

ok I"m confuzzeled, the main story was about Norlo park, but now in comments...the story header is about Shipp U's increasing tuition. I even tried it twice to make sure I hadn't accidently gone to the SU story.

Shippensburg is a state school. They, like most state-funded schools, have low standards for admission. There are a great many "students" running around on the SU campus who are there for other reasons than to get a university education. Nevertheless, they are there and they take up classroom space and increase the demand for available resources so to get additional revenue SU cranks up the tuition.

Well, I still don't know where this park is! I keep hearing about it and you'd think they'd put it's location in the story, but no!
Can't go to an undisclosed location! |
It's SECRET and "they" are keeping it from you. The very same ones that are out to get you. Didn't know that "Noname"? Oh, yes! For a long while YOU have been under surveillance. It is easy to track what you buy in stores, where you buy gasoline, and where you go. You're advised to keep a very low profile until 2009. |
You're a big help, Dork! |
Why are you calling me one of your family names? Of course, the intent was not to "help" you---you're beyond help. |
OOOOHHHHHHHH big deal ,,, just get MOMMY & DADDY to cough up some change!!!!!!!!!! |

I don't know about this, Terry. Problem is, it has been 27 years since I graduated. When I transferred from one state u. to another, the admissions policy was very strict. I went from PA to OH in the school change--no, I didn't classify as an out-of-state student; I was able to claim residency on each end. Fact was, BGSU is a hard school with hefty requirements, for example, 183 credits to graduate. At the time, PSU demanded 124. At BGSU, you were out soon if you weren't there for an education. Ya couldn't be gettin' the groove on and gettin' the move on at the same time, all the time. I find it hard to believe that A LOT of students aren't there for an education (for a variety of reasons). I don't even see how a female could now go through today for her MRS Degree! HA. Some things never change. |

I understand how much it costs to run a university and how many people the employ to run them but the prices are a bit out of control. The average student graduates at around age 22 or 23 depending if they chose the go further or not but finally pay their last loan check at about age 35 to 40 sometimes more. Personally I will be in the 35 to 40 range when I finish paying and I am 21 as of now. I went for 3 years in communications, was demanded to take a foreign language for another year and a half after junior year in which all those beginning classes are filled by freshman way ahead of time. They would have got extra money out of me just for that reason because there arent enough classes to get people in and out in time.

the park is in fayetteville right off route 30...turn onto Lincoln Terrace towards the park |
not if parents can not afford to help!!!!! |
Let me inform u ,,, between the two partys ,,they can together afford it !!!!!!!!!! Shipp university is NOT Notre Dame ,,HELLO,,???HELLO???????? hello???? no empty heads allowed here!!!!!!!!!! |
giorgio, you might make a little sense if you lost about 10 question marks and six exclamation points.
Then again, if you think you know everyone's financial situation, even that might not help. |
$$$$$ then i will put it in 3rd grade form for u ''hollow heads'',,i went to school and u dont have to win the lottery to attend SHIPP unv. |
Here's where your density comes in.
If you come from an UPPER-class background, no, you'll have no trouble affording it. If you come from a LOWER-class background, you'll get through there, too, because the system will bend over backwards to get you through. But if you come from a MIDDLE-class background, you WILL be pressed to be able to afford a four-year college education, and you WON'T be able to get the financial aid necessary to help you through it. |
BTW: The use of extra exclamation points and question marks doesn't "smarten" up your comments, giorgio, like you apparently think they do.
Neither does the use of "u dont". Signed, somebody whose family sacrificed to get me through college. |
