Firefighters are working to put out hot spots at a business fire in Sheridan. Fire crews were called out to the Picketts Sorghum Factory in Bakers Corner near Dunbar Road and 236th Street at around 11:30 a.m. Police have blocked that intersection.

Fire destroyed a landmark Hamilton County business today. Sheridan firefighters were called about 11:25 a.m. to Pickett's Autumn Gold Sorghum plant, located about a half-mile west of U.S. 31 on 236th Street.
