It's the best thing that could happen to Bullitt county and its residents.I know the other democrates who are running for the same job and have met them the are educated and they might be up to the challenge but Mayor Sohm has been a proven leader and I witnessed his expertize in negotions Kroger, Lowes, Gordon Foods Zappos ect...to bring jobs better roadways (CONESTOGA PARKWAY) and a state of the art government center for the citizens of Shepherdsville. Infastructure knowledge and other management skills that it takes to lead HE HAS PROVEN IT !!!! I'm only sorry for the citizens who realize now that they had a chance to keep him in the Mayors office 3yrs ago but failed to do it and are paying for it now. But it would be shelfish of me to want him to be mayor again, He's done so much already and we have much bigger problems that need to be addressed in the county. If he only does 1/2 of what he did for us in the city for the county. We would be 100% better than what is going on in the $20 million dollar fiasco of whats called the courthouse NOW. Think about it ??????

Or are you one of the ones who got rich from all the pillaging and construction (destruction) without giving any thought to the families who already lived here? It isn't progress when it rampages over the history, loveliness and serenity that use to belong to Bullitt County and now our roads are more dangerous than ever, crime is on the increase, and the infrastructure is weakening - all due to the promises made and not kept by the former Mayor. He was most interested in having a building named after him......please........

This community has been turned into a warehousing center. I wish he could get us a decent freakin restaurant in town and get rid of a heart attack joint. I don't know enough to say he did a good or bad job. We just need another $9/hour warehouse. Maybe he could pull that off. I bet it was his "expertise"

I can't believe how many people voted for him just because he promised a multi-plex theater - sitting the old heavy equipment at the sight and putting up a "future site of" sign was probably his best campaign move. We're still not watching movies in Shepherdsville, are we? Probably need a couple more banks though.

Did you get promised a 20/hr job at the movie theater ??Sorry but I never heard him say that he was getting it!! Yep, Gorden Foods is a warehouse but if you actually work its very possible to make 20+/hr. Yep, he brought them in along with the BCEDA who he worked hard with along with all the people you actually need to have involved for a project of this magnitude !! I want to know what promises he made to the residents that he didn't deliver on???? I'm sorry if you can't get a good job out here by home, buts its not his fault, there is oppurtunty here!!!!!

VOTE JOE SOHM FOR COUNTY JUDGE ........ More like one city employee and a contractor put his name on the building. No where on the city's web-site in its minutes does it show the council approving it. That nice building cost the taxpayers a lot of money - did Joe ask them if it was ok to spend $200,000 a year for 12 years? The building has cracks in the walls and floors. Joe didn't bring those jobs. Economic Development brought them here. I know Joe too and I have heard him tell lies so he is not always honest. he may have started out with good intentions but he let politics corrupt him. Thats my opinion.

I am for Joe Sohm for Co Judge Exec. I personally think he did a great job as mayor. Blame the people on Cedar Grove who sold the land to build the ware houses. Look at Brooks and blue Lick road. Joe sohm didn't have any thing to do with that. I think almost any one would be better than who we have for a mayor now. I knew the mayor when he made his living running taverns, drinking, fighting, etc. Also I believe he got caught stealing from vending machines.

I am most definitely for Joe Sohm for judge-executive. I am impressed with his honesty and the way he treats other people. It seems the current judge needs to go back to teaching or get married. She abuses her power, etc. And, talk about croneyism--she tries to hire her friends and create new jobs with high salaries for them. WE DESERVE BETTER!

That goes for the Sheriff too.

WOW! I didn't realize how many of you have fallen for Joe Sohm's ways and actually believe he is good and honest. I know better by cold hard facts that he isn't so honorable. There will be people running for Judge Executive with much higher calipher than Joe could ever have.

Ok yeah.. Just what we need Sohm back in an office. The only reason he is running again is for the money. Kroger,Lowes, and all that came on there own. But I hope you also noticed the nice little addition he did to his house.... yeah he was stickin his fingers in the money too... Melanie Roberts is the best Judge Executive we have ever had. She CARES about the county. She doesn't see herself any different than anyone else in this county. If you notice Joe only knows people when he's campaigning. Any other time he is a stuck up asshole. Have you noticed the progress in Shepherdsville since Tinnell and Roberts have been in office?? Look at all the roads that have been fixed??? All Joe worried about was him and his family and money!

All of you all are missing the point. Without fiscal court approval the Judge is a lame duck. Melanie Roberts is a lame duck. She found out the hard way. What has Donnie Tinnell and the change is coming posse done except hire his family and old cop friends. Its the same o shit in politics. Obama was going to save the world he cant get one pill passed. Its all about feeling important.

Donnie Tinnell and the change is coming posse. What a funny funny statement. Unless they can get their names in the paper or a big bust their not going to help anyone. Believe me, I know. And whats with the signs? Do they think their at the OK corral. Maybe if they took some of the money it took to put the fancy pictures on their cars and trucks they would have more money to help the community. Or stop wasting gas riding around the back roads on their 4 wheelers with the little blue lights going just laughing and having a good old time. And believe me that's all they were doing. Or riding around looking for drugs in a big truck that says DRUG TASK FORCE on it.
